KWL Staff Receive Awards

Three of KWL’s staff were honoured with awards at the opening ceremonies of the British Columbia Water and Waste Association’s 38th annual conference held on May 2, 2010 in Whistler, BC. The recipients are as follows:

Mike Nolan – BCWWA Stanley S. Copp Award
This award recognizes a member of distinction who has provided outstanding and continued service to the BC Water & Waste Association.

Chris Johnston – WEF Arthur Sidney Bedell Award
This award is presented to an active member of the Water Environment Federation in recognition of outstanding services in the water pollution control field as related particularly to the progress and activities of the Member Association.

Alex Wood – AWWA George Warren Fuller
This award is presented to a member of American Water Works Association who has provided outstanding leadership or has made a significant contribution towards the advancement of water works practice within the Association or the section.
