Mike Nolan

Mike Nolan leads KWL’s First Nations & Small Communities sector and is a senior municipal services and water resources engineer with over 25 years experience in water system planning, demand side management, water quality & treatment and large irrigation systems.  Mike holds a Masters Degree in Water Resource Engineering, a degree in Civil Engineering and Diploma in Mechanical Technology.  He also has expertise in integrated stormwater management, community planning and land development.  In the field of water resources, Mike has experience in river and open channel engineering, hydraulic control facilities, environmental enhancement and bio-engineering.  He has had direct-responsible-charge of large to small utilities.  Mike’s strengths lie in his broad knowledge of municipal engineering and in his abilities as a consensus-builder and facilitator.

He is a Past-President of the BC Waste and Water Association, and is currently the B.C. Director for the American Water Works Association.
